A trip to saddle mountain. Cambria and Ross flew over from Boston to climb a mountain and take a couple of photographs. This hike isn’t the easiest to do on a photoshoot, and the scramble up the rock isn’t for the faint of heart, but the payoff is pretty dang worth it.
Winter. The offseason for work, the swells are lining up and somebody needs to go out there and get cold.
An outdoor senior portrait session with the lovely Alison in Boise, Idaho. Adventuring in the foothills is probably our favorite way to spend an afternoon. The sunset on top of Table Rock is kind of unbeatable, embrace the wind and you’re rewarded handsomely with one of the best views in the world.
A stunning couple. A few of Portland’s most picturesque locations. One lovely engagement session. Bridal Veil Falls made for a gorgeous backdrop and Cathedral Park is just incredible. These two were amazing and we are counting the days until their wedding at Mt. Hood Organic Farms next summer!
Columbia River Gorge Portraits Last year Jameykay and Arlie came to Portland to proclaim their love and elope in the forest. One year later and they returned to celebrate with an anniversary session. We took them to the Columbia River Gorge, one of my favorite mini escapes from the city. Surrounded by the mountains and cliffs we almost didn’t notice…
You may recognize Natalie from her intimate backyard wedding earlier this year. Her little family is now expanding to three with the addition of a baby girl later this winter. Swan Falls made an amazing backdrop for her outdoor maternity photos, almost matching her hair in brilliance. Here are a few images from the session!
