A wedding at the A-Frame in the Hoyt Arboretum. A beautiful nature area tucked into the hills just behind Portland, Oregon. There are redwood trees and lovely forest trails in all directions. The wedding reception followed at Coopers Hall winery in SE Portland.
An elopement at Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park in Big Sur, California. A magical place in the world, where you can walk through redwood forests one minute and jagged coastlines the next. You can follow mountain streams up a trail until you come across a spot that talks to you, and get married right there.
